Count Hurr
A downloadable game
Count Hurr
Count Hurr is a GMTK 2026 project, where you play as an adventurer in a world where time is everything.
Your time will be used for your life and for your trades.
Fight various enemies, buy new weapons, shields and pets, use weaknesses and resistances, and maybe you'll be able to meet to Count Hurr.
Every time you loose, you'll be able to keep your stuff and have a bit more of time, to ensure you go further in the kingdom, and discover the mysteries of the ruler.
The game is completely finishable, containing 4 bosses, 1 final boss, and 8 base enemies.
Will you reach the end of the time, and become the new ruler ?
Advices:
Resistance/Weakness
Be careful about resistances and weaknesses,
first area doesn't have elements,
second one is weak against fire but strong against shadow
third one is weak against light, but strong against fire,
fourth one is a mix of enemies with various weaknesses
Equipments
Weapons, shields and pets are used to attack
Shields are the ones giving you weaknesses and resistances

Really nice game ! Making an original experience like that in a week-end is really hard. You can be proud of this game !
The only "negative point" : I love the art style but the attention is focus only on the spells in the bottom of the screen. Maybe can you move the spells icons near from the main character ?
Thanks for the game !
This was such a cool and unique experience! The game doesn't give you much time to realise what's going on and throws you right into the action, you gotta think and learn fast. The art style is awesome, the atmospere of the game is great and the beats are pumping (for real the soundtrack is nice, liked it a lot). I haven't beaten the whole game yet, got through 2 bosses and the only remark that i have is that there's not a lot of explanation on how weaknesses/resistance work. Maybe i missed something or it's a common knowledge for this type of games but overall i really enjoyed playing Count Hurr and will definitely come back to beat all of it!! (ps also loved how the clock that kept giving me more time was loosing its sanity at some point lol)
